Walk-in  Registration Guidelines

1)  Get there early -  Registration will begin at 8:30 am for the 1st seminar
2) Bring exact amount -Each seminar is $ 5.75 . Therefore, you need to bring the exact amount. 
3.  NO credit cards  - We are unable to process credit cards during walk-in registration.

ITEMS TO BRING
1. Pen/Pencil/Paper
2. Lunch
3. If you are attending the first  seminar, bring your child's tests' results if possible.
4.  Receipt/Email Confirmation if paid online.

REMINDERS
1. No Refunds/No Excuses
2. Everyone Must Pay - Except for children under 3 yrs of age.
3. No Children Preferred - We do not have accommodations for children. If the child becomes distractful, in the seminar or venue, we may have to ask you to step outside to comfort the little angel.
3. Even if you registered online, you must check in to get you seminar packet.
4.  If you paid online and there is a line, you do not have to wait in line. You can proceed to registration table.  Stand off to the side and you will be asked if you register online.  You will be the next person to be signed in.

AGENDA

8:30 am Registration and Check in (on-going throughout day)
9:30 am - 11:30 am Education Design/Curriculum: K - 12 and your child
This seminar will discuss the Federal, State, District laws/procedure/policy governing education. Schooling v Education  Is your child destined for success or failure?  Parents will learn about parenting and schooling practices that affect a  child’s successfulness before the child ever opens a book, etc. This seminar will focus on overall curriculum design and change from K -12, etc...including population changes, which affect schooling and education.
11:30 am - 12:00 pm Break
12:00 pm - 1:15 pm Transitioning - Pt. 1 From Private to Public School
This seminar compares and contrasts public and private schools, informs  and gives parents understanding of their rights in public schools, teaches effective strategies for application  and use to increase the successfulness of a child transitioning from public to private or private to public school, etc.
1:15 pm - 1:30pm Break
1:30 pm - 2:45 pm Transitioning - Pt. 2 From Elementary to
Middle School
This seminar will look at the schooling, educational, curriculum change from elementary to middle.  In addition, various scenarios will be discussed to get a thorough understanding of the most effective strategies use for success.  Plus, examine the family support needed for this transition, etc.
