About THE PARENT
READ
1) The PARENT READ has
been designed to increase and move groups of parents to
get involved in the schooling and education of their
children. Therefore, creating a more successful school.
2)
The objectives are to get groups of parents focused and
have a way for them to air their concerns, comments, and
issues in a constructive manner. Plus, In My Shoes, Inc
will support the parents with any and all available
resources. One goal has been achieved; create a
place where concerned and involved parents can find,
meet, interact with one another and share ideas and
effective strategies.

Last year, In My Shoes, Inc. decided to focus on groups
of parents in addition to individual parents. The
reality is that there are schools with no organized PTSA
or PTO and those parents are without knowledge and
guidance.

sharing and communicating thoughts, ideas,
solutions, teachers, parents, etc.
NOTE: The interactive forum is set-up by
IN MY SHOES, INC. and has been designed for
parents not only to state comments but to elicit
comments. The post page of the forum

FAQ
Who can sign up? Groups of Parents
(PTSA, PTO, Organizations, etc.)
What if my PTSA or PTO is inactive? No
problem. In My Shoes, Inc. understands
that there are schools without active Parent
groups. Therefore, you can start THE
PARENT READ at your school for your parents.
Get at least 3 parents together and we will
sign-up your group and activate a discussion
forum for your school.
Can individual parents sign up? Not quite.
However, once you have a group of at least 3
parents, we will sign you up and activate your
interactive forum/discussion board within 48hrs.
How do I get other parents involved? You
are the force. Tell parents.
However, In My Shoes, Inc will help you.
We will email you a brochure with your user id
and password that you can download, copy,
distribute or email to parents.
How do I contact inmyshoes.org to inform them
that we are ready to sign-up? Just
email In My Shoes, Inc at
info@inmyshoes.org. Give your
school's/organization's name and the email
addresses of at least 3 members who have
purchased the book.
Can we use our interactive forum to discuss
other issues? Yes, however all issues
should revolve around schooling, education,
parenting, etc.
Must all parents buy the book? No.
However, at least 3 parents must have purchased
the book for the group to sign-up and get the
Interactive forum. The book is available
at your local bookstore and online at
www.amazon.com.
How do we access the videos? Just
click on the video and enter your user id and
password. In addition, your parents will have
access to all password protected information on
In My Shoes' website.
